History :

The history of " La Dame Blanche " begins in 1987, when Regis Page, veteran book & music lover takes over a bookstore from a longtime friend and joins his 2 passions by selling discount CD’s.

After some difficult first years: the departure of his friend, the discontinuation of the bookstore, Regis Page quickly becomes known as a major reference in French collectible records. No doubt in some part due to his energetic & passionate personality.

In just over 15 years, “La Dame Blanche” has become the French specialist in classical records recognized by collectors worldwide.

In the fall of 2002 “La Dame Blanche” will open a second office a few paces from their present location in the shadow of the Pantheon in the very heart of Paris. The ever-increasing stock of CDs & records will be stored there. It will be more comfortably accessible to a clientele which regularly arrives here from all corners of the world.

Open 7 days a week until 8.00 PM, all the staff will be there to welcome you and it’s not unheard that if you happen to stroll by at 10 o’clock in the night, “La Dame Blanche” still have its doors open and Monsieur Page will happily invite you in to talk about Records, France, Culture, Politics…or simply to listen Music.
